Kawasaki Launches the Ninja H2 in India, Priced at Rs. 29 lakh

There has been a lot of news surrounding the launch of a new bike from the Kawasaki stable. We had earlier reported that the first batch of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 had opened up for bookings. Kawasaki dealers confirmed that bookings had started for the 200bhp H2 for Rs. 10 lakh, while they had said that the delivery for the same will commence in March 2015.

Now Kawasaki Motors has officially launched their newest sports bike – the Kawasaki Ninja H2 with a price tag of Rs. 29 lakh.

The superbike is powered by a 998cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, in-line cylinder supercharged engine, that is capable of achieving the engine power of 200 PS at 11,000 RPM. The Ninja H2 frame is made of Trellis, high-tensile steel frame and gets a Swingarm Mounting Plate.

The motorcycle measures 2085 x 770 x 1455mm in wheelbase and weighs 238 kilograms. It has a ground clearance of 130mm and features a 17 liter capacity fuel tank. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 sports a dual semi-floating 330mm discs at the front and a single 250mm disc at the rear with an intelligent ABS (Anti Braking System), launch control and an electric steering damper. The top speed is  320 Kmph on its 6-speed gearbox.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 for India is imported as a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) from Japan, and this year, Kawasaki plans on opening 5 new showrooms in the country, namely Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Chennai. Apparel and accessories will also be available in Kawasaki showrooms.
