The E.J. Cole Collection 2015 Edition Auction Will Be a Vintage Motorcycle Extravaganza

On March 20th and 21st, the most noteworthy collection of motorcycles will be put up for auction, all at the same time. The E.J. Cole Collective Auction has offered more American-made bikes than any other auction. It represents the most famous motorcycle auction which has been in history for 130 years.

E.J. Cole is a bike investor who had been collecting bikes long before it became a trend. His entire fortune is based on the common saying,’ One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.’

At the auction last year, approximately 27 bikes were sold for more than $300,000. This year’s collection boasts of 5 motorcycles which are estimated to be sold at that amount. More than 200 bikes will be put up on display. According to the data analyzed by Gizmag, around 330 bikes were databased that would fetch more than $70,000 at the auction.

As of now, the top 50 motorcycles ever to be sold at public sales comprises of 27 British bikes and 18 American bikes.

Some of the fabled British bikes to be displayed are the HRD-Vincent, Royal Enfield, Velocette, Coventry-Eagle, BSA, Triumph, and many more. Among the American bikes are the Harley Davidson, Crocker, Flying Merkel, Cyclone, Pierce, Henderson, Ace, etc.

For some, it may be about the record-setting deals on bikes. But for some, this auction is an opportunity to purchase bikes which have become part of history and have become legends in there own rights.
