The Verna facelift is also expected to get fog lamps with LED DRLs and redesigned rear end with updated bumper and integrated reflectors. The car is said to have a new alloy design on the menu. Inside, it looks like a simple cabin, which is somewhat similar to the existing model except for the seven-inch touchscreen navigation.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Verna sedan will be powered by the same 1.4-litre petrol engine, whereas the diesel variant may be powered by 1.6-litre engine. It is also expected that Hyundai may offer six-speed automatic gearbox instead of the current generation 4-speed automatic transmission.
The new Verna facelift is expected to come between the price frame of Rs. 7.30 lakh to Rs. 11.50 lakh. It will compete with Honda City, VW Vento, and Maruti Ciaz in India, once it is launched.
