Fiat Reportedly Planning to Launch The Maserati in India

Fiat has been working extremely hard to capture the Indian automobile market. The Italian automaker has already confirmed the launch of two new brands in the span of the next 12 months – Abarth and Jeep. Even though the sluggish market growth and high import duty are known to hinder growth, looks like Fiat is planning big nonetheless.

According to Economic Times, Fiat plans to open exclusive company-owned stores in major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore to sell the high-end sports car Maserati. It is a 100-year old brand and is a part of Fiat’s international luxury portfolio, which also includes Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.
