Tata Nano Twist launched at Rs 2.36 lakh

Tata has launched the Tata Nano Twist at Rs 2.35 lakh. The price is approximately Rs 14,000 more than the top end non power-steering variant of the Tata Nano.

The Twist XT has a ZF-developed brushless motor power steering which also gets its own ECU which is placed under the dashboard. The steering system also gets Active Return, which helps the steering to return in it’s original position after executing the turn. Tata claims that this feature improves stability and gives the confidence to driver at high speed.

Nano Twist is powered by a 624CC, 2 Cylinder, MPFI engine that churns out 38Bhp and 51Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The Tata Nano Twist XT gets a revised instrument cluster with driver information system, digital clock and average fuel economy indicator. The other new feature on the Nano Twist will be the all-new Damson Purple paint shade. Tata Motors claims 25kmpl fuel efficiency for the Nano petrol and can achieve a top speed of 105kmph.
