Tata Safari Storme Facelift May Arrive Soon

According to recent reports, Tata is planning to bring in the facelifted model of its flagship SUV, the Safari Storme. It is touted to launch by the festive season.

If reports are to be believed, the company has effectively begun testing the redesigned model of the SUV in India. Dispatched in 2012, the Safari Storme has not had the capacity to pull in numerous purchasers. Well, this might be considered as the company’s attempt to revive its lost ground in the average-sized SUV section.

The overhauled model will get another front sash, along with a new grille and modified guard. While, the back and side profiles of the automobile are to stay unaltered. The cabin may get a couple of progressions such as better upholstery, overhauled dashboard, and another music framework. However, the greatest change will be the third-column seating arrangement. Moreover, the organization may replace the current front-side confronting third line seat with the captain seats.

There will be no mechanical changes, however the company may tune the motor for more power. The 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine would continue to be the powerhouse but the output is likely to be pumped up from 140 PS to 150 PS, while the torque will remain at 320 Nm.
