Royal Enfield Continental GT launched at Rs 2.05 lakh

Royal Enfield has launched continental GT at Rs 2.05 lakh. It has been 60 years since the last cafe racer from Royal Enfield. The Continental GT is powered by a fuel injected 535cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 29bhp and 44Nm of torque.

The engine is mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has 18 inch spoked wheels, which wear Pirelli Sport Demon tyres. Stopping power comes from a 300mm floating Brembo disc brake setup up front and a 240mm disc at the rear.

The seat is a flat unit with a bit of contour at the rear. Options include a pillion seat and bar-end rear view mirrors. The motorcycle is manufactured in Royal Enfield’s Oragadam plant in Chennai. It is the most expensive motorcycle built by Royal Enfield.
