New Skoda Superb Launched in India
Czech automaker Skoda launched the new Skoda Superb in India today. The sedan is priced at Rs 22.68 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The highlight of the Superb is in its overall size and look. The new look features an angular design language based on the VisionC concept showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. The signature Skoda grille is flanked by huge projector headlamps.
Under the hood, the Superb features a 1.8-liter petrol engine with maximum power output of 178bho while a 2.0-liter diesel engine will churn out peak power of 160bhp. The engines will be mated to either a six-speed DSG automatic, seven-speed DSG automatic or a six-speed manual.
Some of the features of the Skoda Superb include a panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon head-lamps with LED DRLs and LED tail-lamps, three-way climate control, and park assist with a camera. the car is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
