2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype will Debut at the Geneva Motor Show

Honda is ready to unveil its next-generation Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The Civic will have its global premiere at the Motor Show next month and will have a European launch early next year.

Honda will showcase the Civic’s new exterior design language that hasn’t been revealed so far. A teaser image of the car released a while ago showed the Civic’s rear side that shows off some clean, sharp edges running along the back. The rear lights also come redesigned with sharper angles.

The Civic Hatchback Prototype will come with two variants. A 1.0-liter VTEC Turbo engine that will produce up to 127bhp of power and 200Nm of torque, while the 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine would generate 201bhp of power and peak torque of 260Nm

The car will be produced in the UK from where it will be exported to global markets, including the US. We’ll know more about the pricing and availability details during the Geneva Motor Show.
