2014 Nissan Qashqai India Launch Expected Soon

Nissan has revealed the all new Nissan Qashqai, expected to bound for India. The 2014 Qashqai also gets some changes in dimensions. It is lower and wider than the previous model and 49mm longer. Nissan claims that the quality inside the cabin has significantly improved with increased occupant space and larger luggage capacity.

 

The company is offering Qashqai in two petrol and two diesel engine options with a choice of two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layout and manual or Xtronic automatic transmissions. There are two petrol engine and two diesel engine options, a 1.2 litre petrol engine which churn out 115Bhp and 190Nm of torque or a 1.6 litre engine which delivers 150Bhp and 240nm of torque.

 

The entry level diesel engine a 1.5-litre dCi engine that churns out 110Bhp and that comes standard with a start-stop system for better fuel efficiency. The top diesel variant gets a 1.6-litre dCi engine that churns out 130Bhp. Some of the safety features Front Collision Avoidance, Driver Attention Support, Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Park Assist. Qashqai expected to be price at RS 20 lakh and it will be competing with the cars like BMW X1 and Hyundai Santa Fe.
