2014 Suzuki Swift Facelift Revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show

Suzuki Swift is one of the best selling hatchbacks in India, the newest iteration of the Swift : The 2014 Swift was revealed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and it showed off a couple of changes on the outside and a few feature additions on the inside. There are two engine options 1.2 litre K series petrol engine and the 1.3 litre Multijet turbo diesel motor continue unchanged. The new Swift also has the same 5 Speed manual transmission used in the previous model. Suzuki claims to have squeezed out extra mileage from the engines and this has also resulted in lower tail pipe CO2 emissions.

 

2014 Swift get some exterior changes like new front end boomerang shaped led daytime running lamps, silver accents to the front bumper, a high mounted stop lamp at the rear and also new wheelcaps for the lower variants. A new Blue color has also been added to the Swift range of already exciting colors. Suzuki has added electric mirrors that fold automatically inwards when the car is parked and the ignition is off.

 

While the dashboard remains untouched, the seat fabric on the 2014 Swift is new. One touch power window for the driver and automatic headlamps are the two other interesting features on the 2014 Swift. All these changes could appear on the Indian version of the Swift scheduled to launch next year.
