Chevrolet Is Set to Launch Trailblazer and 10 New Chevrolet Vehicles
Aiming to double its market share by 2020, Chevrolet has announced that it will roll 10 new locally produced vehicles in the next 5 years, beginning with the Chevrolet Trialblazer. As a part of Chevrolet’s global growth strategy to ensure long-term profitability, the company today confirmed that it will invest 1 billion dollars (INR 6,400) in India.
Chevrolet will also strengthen its global growth markets by investing 5 billion dollars in the development of an all-new vehicles family that will meet the rapidly changing demands of the customers in India. The majority of the new investment will support the strengthing of Chevrolet’s Taelgaon manufacturing base in the state of Maharastra.The new investment is expected to create approximately 12,000 new jobs for GM India and its suppliers.

Chevrolet Trailblazer will start rolling out in October 2015 and later to join the family will be the Multi-purpose Vehicle (MPV), Chevrolet Spin in 2017.
