Mercedes Unveils the Stunning 2016 A-Class Facelift

Mercedes A-Class, the company’s popular hatchback, has a new facelift. The new look was unveiled today ahead of its showcase at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 in September. In addition to that, new features, tweaks and an additional variant has been revealed as well.


The hatchback gets a standard diamond pin grille and a sharper front bumper. The LED headlamps are optional and the rear gets revised taillamps. Mercedes also offers new color options for the 2016 A Class.


As far as the interior is concerned, instrument console has been uplifted too. The 2016 A-Class will be the first Mercedes Benz model to be available with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink. The screen has been upgraded from 7 inches to 8 inches. The interior sports new color themes and revised seats.

The A 160 is the new entry level model while the A 180 has been made the most efficient model in the A-class. The A220 D and A250 D now run on 7PS more than their previous versions. The A250 models now have new manual transmission systems. From now on, the diesel variants will have the suffix D, instead of CDI.

A 180 Sport petrol with 122 PS and A 200 D Sport diesel with 136 PS will continue to be offered in India. The deliveries of 2016 A Class will start this September in Europe.
