Introducing Denny : The Ultimate Utility Bike

When someone asks us to draw a bicycle for them, all we do is sketch a pair of wheels, pedals, a seat, a frame and we’re done, right? But, what if you were set up with the challenge to create the ultimate utility bike, what would you come up with?

The Bike Design Project is an independent innovation platform which partnered 5 high level design firms with American bicycle craftsmen and asked them to collaboratively develop the next-wave urban bike.

The winner of this project was the entry by team TEAGUE x SIZEMORE BICYCLE and it’s called Denny.

But that’s not it. The entire concept moves past the stages of competition and Denny will now move into production and will start arriving in bike shops in 2015.

Overall, Denny is a phenomenal concept and it’s a no-brainer that it sailed through the competition and wowed the voters with its ingenious handlebar lock design, unique fender system, automatic shifting and modern styling from day one.

    Hi Sahil,

They are manufacturing the bike in partnerships with Fuji bikes and will be available only through their dealerships.

The good news is that Fuji Bikes do have an official dealership in Mumbai. So you can personally order one of these when the delivery starts.

    Hope this helps.
