Hero Launches HX250R, a 250cc Bike that Gives 31 bhp

Hero Motor Corp.has announced its new HX250R 250cc motorcycle. The company will launch the Hero HX250R by June 2014, the name of the motorcycle is not yet finalized and can be changed.

The 249cc, single-cylinder engine uses liquid-cooling and fuel-injection to produce 31 BHP of power. This motorcycle includes a 6-speed transmission.The HX250R uses telescopic forks in the front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock at the back. Being a high power engine, the rear disc is 200 mm and the front disc is 300 mm, and the HX250R also has an option for ABS.

Pricing and availability is now yet confirmed, but this is clear that Hero as a company has pulled up its socks and is back with a bang in the business. The pricing can be around 1.2 -1.4 lakh, specially when this bike gives 31 bhp which is the highest in this segment.
