BMW 5-series Facelift Launching in India on Oct 10th

The BMW 5-series facelift, the refreshed luxury car is finally launching in India on 10th October. The new variant has some cosmetic changes and additional features in the car. On the outside, they added lines around the front grille, headlamps have been refreshed, the air intake have been reshaped, the front fog lamps get touches of chrome and the tail lamps are restyled.

 

The facelift BMW 5-series will also get new alloys, new Xenon headlights and LED fog lights as standard across the range. The hands free boot function enables you to open the boot by simply putting your foot under the bumper (the sensor is placed there).

The cabin ambient lights can also be alternated between orange and white while the iDrive control screen comes with a track pad on the control dial and it also gets a chrome border now. The company claim increased storage spaces on the inside and improved fuel consumption with the help of a function that disengages the powertrain when coasting. The BMW will surely focus on the 520d which is the largest selling variant in 5-series. BMW 5-series will be competing with Audi A6, Mercedes E class and Jaguar XF.
