Nissan Terrano ‘Groove’ Limited Edition Launched

Nissan India on Thursday launched the new Terrano Groove. This is a special edition version of the existing Terrano SUV in India and the company will only sell a limited number of 250 units. The Groove is based on the existing XL (O) variant of the standard compact SUV and will offer upgrades worth Rs 30,000.

The Terrano Groove does not get any changes in the aesthetic design of the car and resembles the standard Terrano. What we are going to see are some upgrades such as a matte black roof wrap and chrome highlights for fog lamps, tail-lamps and tail-gate to distinguish it from the regular model.

The interiors too, get some enhancements, the Terrano Groove is equipped with a high-end Rockford Fosgate sound system, branded fabric mats and LED scuff plates on the doors.

The special edition variant is powered by the same 1.5-litre four-cylinder, K9K diesel engine which is available on the XL (O) variant of the Terrano. The engine develops 85PS of maximum power and 200 Nm of torque. It is a 5-speed manual transmission compact SUV and gives a mileage of 20.45 km/l.

Guillaume Sicard, President of Nissan India, said, “With the Groove edition, we want to reach out to individuals who like their cars to reflect their dynamic lifestyle. We are confident that the new additions will make the Terrano even more appealing to them.”

The Nissan Terrano Groove is priced at Rs 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is up on sale across the country.
