Buggati Left with Only 8 Brand-New Veyrons for Sale

It’s been almost a decade since Buggati first announced the Veyron. Since its launch back in 2005, 450 units of this seven figure speedster have been sold, while only 300 units of the roadster were initially planned. If you’re planning to buy one of the fastest cars in the world, now may be a good time – as there are only eight Veyrons left for grabs.  However, its life cycle was extended with the introduction of the Grand Sport in 2008, by 150 units.

The 300 coupe variants were sold out by September 2011, leaving only Grand Sport and Vitesse Roadster variants. Hence, we can’t rule out the possibility of a some special farewell edition to bid adieu to the remaining Veyrons.

So what’s next in store? The development of Veyron’s successor already making the rounds. It is expected to be a hybrid model. Dubbed as the Chiron, the company is working on pre-production prototypes for the Chiron. With a massive output of 1500 horsepower and carrying forward the Buggati DNA, Chiron is claimed to have a top speed of over 463 kmph, and it zips from 0-100kmph in under 2.5 seconds. Looks like we have another beast in the making.
